HELP: Stuck on Loading Screen

Restart application or restart PC.

If FSX Play is stuck on a loading screen and won’t start, try these steps.

Step 1 — Wait 60 Seconds

Course loading can take up to a minute, especially on first load. Give it time before assuming it’s stuck.

Step 2 — Restart FSX Play

  1. Press Alt + F4 to close the application.
  2. If that doesn’t work, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and open Task Manager.
  3. Find FSX Play in the list, click it, and select End Task.
  4. Relaunch FSX Play from the desktop icon.

Step 3 — Restart the PC

If the software still won’t load, restart the computer. Click Start Menu → Power → Restart. Wait for the PC to fully reboot, then launch FSX Play again. This resolves most loading issues.
