Don’t want to play a full round? The driving range in FSX Play lets you hit balls and work on your swing in a relaxed practice environment.
Accessing the Range
- Launch FSX Play from the desktop.
- Select Practice from the home screen.
- Choose a driving range — the Foresight Sports Practice Facility and Paris Driving Range are both included.
What You’ll See
The range displays target markers at various distances. After each shot, the software shows your key data: carry distance, total distance, ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, and club path. This is the best way to dial in your distances and see how consistent your swing is.
Switching Clubs
Use the club selection arrows on screen to toggle between clubs. The software will track data per club, so you can compare your 7-iron to your 8-iron and see the gaps.
The driving range is perfect for warming up before a round, practicing a specific club, or just enjoying the process of hitting balls without the pressure of scoring.
