Swing Safety & Hitting Area Rules

One person in the zone, spectators seated, practice swings on mats only.

Golf clubs are swung at high speed in a confined space. In an unmanned facility, safety discipline is entirely on you and your group.

The Rules

  • One person in the hitting zone at a time. No exceptions. The person swinging needs full clearance.
  • Spectators stay seated behind the hitting area at all times while someone is swinging.
  • Practice swings on the hitting mat only. Never swing a club near walls, the projector, the launch monitor, or the impact screen.
  • Be aware of your backswing. Check above and behind you before swinging — ceiling fixtures and walls are closer than you think.
  • Children must be supervised. Kids should never be in the hitting zone unless they are the one hitting, and an adult must be watching.

Golf injuries happen fast. A club moving at full speed can cause serious injury. Stay alert and keep everyone safe.
