How to Use the Tee on the Hitting Mat

Shows rubber tee usage. Explicitly bans wooden tees to protect sensors.

Each bay at Putter Sim Lounge is equipped with rubber tees built into the hitting mat. Here’s how to use them properly.

Using the Rubber Tee

  1. Locate the rubber tee in the hitting zone of the mat. It may be adjustable or fixed-height.
  2. Place a clean, unmarked golf ball on top of the rubber tee.
  3. For iron shots, you can hit directly off the mat surface instead of the tee.
  4. After your shot, place the next ball and continue.

No Wooden Tees — Ever

Wooden tees are strictly prohibited. They splinter on impact and can damage the Foresight Falcon launch monitor sensors embedded in the hitting mat. These sensors are precision instruments — a broken tee fragment can cause costly damage and downtime.

Only use the bright blue BIR-TEE rubber tees on the desk. If a rubber tee is missing or damaged, contact us and we’ll arrange a replacement. Do not improvise with wooden tees, plastic tees from home, or any other object.
