Facility Rules & Bay Etiquette

Master document: smoking, alcohol, guests, surveillance, and equipment respect.

Putter Sim Lounge is an unmanned, self-service facility. Without staff on-site, these rules exist to protect the equipment, protect you, and ensure every customer has a great experience. By booking a session, you agree to follow these rules.

The Rules

  1. Clean indoor shoes only. Swap your outdoor shoes at the vestibule rack. No metal spikes, no boots, no dirty footwear. These damage the turf and mats.
  2. Use our golf balls only. Marked, scuffed, or range balls damage the impact screens. Clean, unmarked balls are provided.
  3. Rubber tees only. Wooden tees damage the impact screen. use the bright blue BIR-TEE rubber tees on the desk in each bay.
  4. One person in the hitting zone at a time. Everyone else should be seated behind the hitting area. No exceptions.
  5. Keep food and liquids away from equipment. No drinks near the computers, launch monitors, or on the turf. Use the designated areas.
  6. Clean up before you leave. Dispose of trash, return house clubs, wipe down surfaces, and exit the software properly.
  7. No smoking or vaping. As per City of Vaughan bylaws.
  8. No glass bottles or alcohol. You may bring snacks and non-glass beverages. The operator is not responsible for personal consumption.
  9. Respect the equipment. Treat the simulators, screens, projectors, and launch monitors with care. You are financially responsible for negligent damage.
  10. Vacate promptly. When your booked session ends, exit your session, clean up, and leave so the next customer can start on time.

Supervision & Guests

  • Maximum 4 guests per bay under standard bookings.
  • Minors must be supervised by an adult at all times. An adult must sign the waiver and be the credit card holder.
  • All guests must follow these rules. The booking holder is responsible for their group.

Video Surveillance

This facility is monitored by continuous video surveillance for the safety of guests and the protection of equipment. By entering the facility, you consent to being recorded.

Violations

Customers who violate these rules may be held financially responsible for damage, have their booking terminated without refund, and/or be banned from future bookings.
